We offer comfortable and well-fitting harnesses for almost any dog, because we want all dogs to be as happy and comfortable as possible.

A dog harness needs to fit perfectly in order to fulfil its purpose. For most harnesses, our sizes are based on the chest circumference of the dog. In order to determine the chest circumference of your dog, measure their chest at the widest part, directly behind the shoulder blades of your dog.

Our harnesses are adjustable. Therefore, our size tables list both the smallest and the largest adjustment.

All our leashes are very sturdy and can withstand even strong pulling by the dog. The maximum pull force our leashes can withstand is approx. 200 kg.

The coating consists of brushed nickel.

A brief overview of the leather used for WOLTERS products

The cowhide nappa leather used for the WOLTERS TERRAVITA line is as natural as can be. The leather surface has not been treated with artificial sealing agents. As a result, the leather can breathe and retains its natural character. You can feel that, because the leather pleasantly soft to the touch.

Chromium-free tanning

The leather is tanned without chromium. Only natural tanning agents such as tara pods, rhubarb roots or the fruit capsules of the valonia oak are used.

The highest grades

The WOLTERS TERRAVITA leather is the only certified organic leather that is produced in Germany. The highest grades for the highest quality.

Carefully dyed

The range of available colours is created via heavy-metal-free dyes, which do not pose any health risks. Due to the natural structure, the leather absorbs more or less dye in certain spots. Therefore, slight differences in the colour intensity are a mark of the quality of the uncoated leather. Light, time and touch can also change the leather surface. This is not a flaw in the product, but the result of the natural materials and treatment.

Good care for high-quality leather

Since we only use natural leather with open pores for our Terravita and Terranova product lines, we suggest using natural care methods for our leather leashes and collar in order to protect the leather against environmental influences. This ensures that you and your dog can enjoy our leather products for a long time. In order to care for our leather products, you need a towel and good quality cooking oil (sunflower oil). Brush it once onto the leather. Alternatively, you can also use saddle soap. Once the products have received their care program, you're ready for action!

German oiled leather

WOLTERS TERRANOVA oil leather is sturdy smooth leather which has been coated with a greasy or waxy layer. Due to this soft coating, the leather gains a unique patina during use and remains a unique item.

Certified according to IVN natural leather

Most of our leashes are sewed directionally, i.e. only one end of the leash should be connected to the dog's collar or harness, while the other side should be used to adjust the length. Therefore, please make sure to always use the larger snap hook to attach the leash to the dog's collar or harness . Otherwise, the seams might rip open and the leash might be damaged.
