Which harness size does my dog need?
A perfectly fitting and comfortable harness should be part of the basic equipment of your dog. Our product range includes various harnesses made from sturdy nylon material for every dog's individual body shape, such as H- or Y-harnesses, Norwegian or safety harnesses. Secure quick release fasteners, a perfect ft due to flexible adjustability or a comfortable and soft padding are only some of the features offered by our dog harnesses.
The correct size is crucial for a perfect fit. In order to determine the right size, you need to measure the chest circumference of your dog.
Chest circumference
Measure the chest circumference behind the front legs at the broadest part of the chest (approx. two fingers' width behind the front legs) . Wrap the measuring tape once around the chest of the dog.
Our sizes always list the smallest and largest adjustment possible for the respective harness. Therefore, you can determine exactly, which harness size your dog needs.
Some of our harnesses come in special sizes for pugs, bulldogs & co. This cut is particularly suited for dogs with a broad chest.
Belly circumference
In order to determine the right size for our No Escape harnesses, you also need to measure the belly circumference of your dog.
The belly circumference is measured below the rib cage of your dog.
