Information Calcium/Phosphorus: No phosphorus is added to the food. Phosphorus in the food is completely natural and exclusively derived from the raw materials. In order for calcium and phosphorus to be absorbed by the animal, the calcium content in the food must be higher than the phosphorus content. To ensure this, calcium is added.
