The manufacturers of Dogsto have had the safety belt extensively tested by the technicians and engineers of the TQMC GmbH in Rheinberg, Germany, in order to ensure maximum safety for your dog. Hereby the Dogsto safety belt was brought to its stress limits during so-called tension tests conducted on specific test stands. The results of these tests were excellent.
In extreme driving situations such as a full emergency braking or a fast ride along a curvy road, serial production cars may reach acceleration forces of up to 1 G. However, the Dogsto safety belt can withstand 25-times higher forces (25 G), which corresponds to a traction force of 250 kg. Therefore, your dog is perfectly secured by the Dogsto safety belt.
