The BugTerrine is a nutritious wet food which contains all the vital nutrients your dog needs. As with all hypoallergenic BugBell products, soldier fly larvae are the main source of protein and offer a healthy and high quality taste experience for your dog.

Spinach and hempseed relax muscles and nerves. For even more relaxation, medicinal herbs like camomile flower, nettle as well as sage leaves as well as CBD oil (as with out snacks BugBiscuits and BugMix) are added. Our green variation contains spinach and hempseed. And this does not just apply to the dog food! No, Bugbell starts at the source and also feeds the soldier fly larvae with these ingredients.

The BugBell dog food made from insects is available in three flavours: spinach & hempseed, banana & chia seed and cranberry & cheese.

Feeding advice:

The food serves as a whole meal for adult dogs and fulfils the daily requirement of all vital nutrients (e.g. vitamins, minerals, micronutrients). The food can also replace single meals. For puppies, our wet food can be mixed into the daily rations as a food supplement, so that your dog can enjoy insect proteins at a young age.

The daily rations are guideline values for grown adult dogs. The individual daily nutrient requirements vary according to race, age and activity level. Divide the daily ration up in at least two individual rations and feed at room temperature. Take additional snacks into account when calculating the daily ration. Please always make sure that the dog always has fresh drinking water. Store the BugTerrine in a cool and dry place.

Preparation:

1. Add 200ml water to 100g of terrine (use more or less water, as desired) and stir thoroughly

2. Wait 3-5 minutes

3. Ready

Insect meal (33% hermetia illucens – corresponds to approx. 80% fresh insects), potato starch (26%), potato flakes (25%), minerals (3%), spinach (2.5%), hempseed (2.5%), linseed, coarsely ground (2%), psyllium husks (2%), oils (2% e.g. hempseed oil), flavourings (2% e.g. celeriac), egg shall powder (0.3% – as a natural source of calcium), brewer's yeast (0.05%, rich in mannan-oligosaccharides and beta-glucans), herbs (0.5% e.g. nettle, fennel, camomile), CBD-oil (0.05%), salt as sodium chloride (0.02%)

This dogfood range focusses on healthy and natural ingredients and consequently does not use sugar, cereals as well as colouring agents and preservatives agents. The sole source of protein are insects, more precisely the so-called soldier fly larvae, which are ideally suited for food purposes due to their sustainability and tolerability.

The larvae are fed gluten-free flour as well as different kinds of vegetables and fruit, which creates the natural colours and flavours and also positively influence the nutrient content. Sometimes, superfoods such as chia seeds or hempseed are added.

Regular types of meat such as beef, pork and poultry frequently cause allergies in dogs. This does not apply to the products of BugBell. Since insects are used as the sole source of proteins, the product is hypoallergenic.

Furthermore, BugBell products are manufactured in Germany. And since BugBell purchases ingredients from regional manufacturers and suppliers, the insects are "Made in Germany" as well. BugBell also pays attention to sustainability with regard to packaging and uses 100% compostable paper cups.
