The sustainable and well tolerated insect based dog baking mix – without artificial flavour and colouring, sugar or gluten.

This dog baking mix allows dog owners to bake healthy dog cakes and muffins for their dogs in no time at all. As with all hypoallergenic BugBell products, soldier fly larvae are the main source of protein and offer a healthy and high quality taste experience for your dog.

Cranberry and cheese cause the happiness hormone serotonin to be released. A lack of serotonin is considered a key factor in the origin of aggressiveness, impulsiveness and hyperactivity. Cranberry and cheese both promote the production of serotonin. And this does not just apply to the dog food! No, BugBell starts at the source and also feeds the soldier fly larvae with these ingredients. For even more bliss, BugBell adds L-tryptophane to the wine-red mix. L-tryptophane is a crucial ingredient for the happiness hormone serotonin.

The BugBell biscuits made from insects are available in three flavours: spinach & hempseed, banana & chia seed and cranberry & cheese.

Feeding advice:

The cakes are suitable for both fully grown dog as well as for young dogs and puppies. The fluffy consistency allows puppies to eat and chew the cakes in small portioned bites. The daily rations are guideline values for grown adult dogs. The individual daily nutrient requirements vary according to race, age and activity level. Ideal as a daily snack in addition to main meals or a treat for in-between.

For your dog's health, please pay attention to the feeding advice and respectively adjust the main meal. Please always make sure that the dog always has fresh drinking water. Store the BugMix in a cool and dry place. Use up within 5 months after opening.

Ingredients of BugMix Cranberry & Cheese:

Insect meal (33% hermetia illucens – corresponds to approx. 80% fresh insects), potato starch (33%), potato meal (20%), sodium hydrogen carbonate (3%), cranberry (2.5%), cheese (2,5%), oils (2% e.g. salmon oil), flavourings (2% e.g. beetroot, carrots), linseed, coarsely ground (2%), psyllium husks (2%), brewer's yeast (1%, rich in mannan-oligosaccharides and beta-glucans), L-tryptophane (0.03%), salt as sodium chloride (0.02%)

Raw protein: 19.9%, Raw fat: 7.6%, Raw fibre: 6.2%, Raw ash: 4.2%

Baking instructions:

1. You need: A baking sheet or a microwave

2. Add 20ml cooking oil, e.g. sunflower oil, and 100ml water to the BugMix and stir thoroughly.

3. Distribute the dough evenly between muffin tins using 2 tablespoons or fill the entire dough into a cake tin.

4. Bake your dog snack in the pre-heated oven (middle rail) or in the microwave.

5. Let the cakes cool and give your dog a treat.

Regular types of meat such as beef, pork and poultry frequently cause allergies in dogs. This does not apply to the products of BugBell. Since insects are used as the sole source of proteins, the product is hypoallergenic.

Furthermore, BugBell products are manufactured in Germany. And since BugBell purchases ingredients from regional manufacturers and suppliers, the insects are "Made in Germany" as well. BugBell also pays attention to sustainability with regard to packaging and uses 100% compostable paper cups.
