Ostrich Egg
Retrieving Toy for Dogs with Irregular Bouncing Behaviour
The WOLTERS Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is a versatile retrieving toy for dogs that can bounce unpredictably in different directions upon landing due to its unique egg shape. This irregular bouncing behaviour adds extra movement to playtime and enhances your dog's coordination skills. Variants are available with and without a rope, offering different play options.
Dog Toy Made of Natural Rubber for Fetch and Retrieve Games
The Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is made from natural rubber. The material is particularly durable and chewable. Its unusual shape sets it apart from a classic ball, as the subsequent bounce direction is not easily predictable upon impact. This makes it suitable for varied fetch and retrieving games with your dog. The toy is partially buoyant.
Ostrich Egg with Cotton Rope for Dynamic Throwing
For particularly dynamic throws, the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is available with an integrated cotton rope. The rope makes it easier for you to grip and allows you to give the toy extra momentum when throwing. At the same time, it offers your dog another way to pick up the Ostrich Egg during play.
Fillable Dog Toy without Rope for Treats
The variant without rope can also be filled with treats. This combines the unique movement of the Ostrich Egg with added motivation for your dog. Depending on whether you prefer energetic fetch games or playing with filled toys, you can choose the suitable version.

Use the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg for shared fetch and retrieving games and supervise your dog during use. Regularly check the natural rubber for cracks, heavy bite marks, or other visible damage.
For the variant with rope, you should also regularly check the cotton rope for frayed or damaged areas. Do not continue to use the toy if material or individual components become detached.
For the variant without rope, try to remove food residues soon after filling. Allow the toy to dry completely after cleaning or after water play before storing it away.
Choose the size of the toy suitable for your dog and its play behaviour. The Ostrich Egg should not be able to be fully swallowed.
What is the difference between the Ostrich Egg with and without rope?
The variant with cotton rope is particularly suitable for dynamic throws and provides your dog with an additional way to retrieve the toy. The variant without rope can be filled with treats.
Why does the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg bounce so irregularly?

What material is the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg made of?
The Ostrich Egg is made from natural rubber. The material is particularly durable and chewable. The rope in the corresponding variant is made of cotton.
Can I fill the dog toy with treats?
