With a deep love for animals and a clear vision, Martina and Frank Wolters
laid the foundation for their company 33 years ago.
From the very beginning, it was clear to the two founders:

Around 60 team members work day in and day out to develop high-quality products for dogs,
get them out to you, and provide the best possible support.
In the warehouse, everything is packed with care – and we mean that in every sense.
Our warehouse team ensures that every order arrives safely, completely, and promptly.
Each package is put together with tenderness – whether it's a small bowl
or a large dog bed.
In the e-commerce department, all threads come together around the webshop.
Here, processes are optimised, and the digital product world is managed.
Together with the marketing team, who handle the texts, images, and campaigns,
the department ensures that WOLTERS presents itself reliably and accessibly online.
Our internal and external service forms the direct link to the specialist trade.
Whether at trade fairs, in personal conversations, or over the phone – here, experience,
product knowledge, and genuine consulting expertise are required.

I am responsible for all returns in the warehouse at WOLTERS – and that’s exactly my thing!
When products are returned, I restore them to their former glory:
jackets are de-fuzzed, bowls cleaned, and collars, leads, and harnesses
thoroughly checked and re-packaged.
Nothing is carelessly disposed of here – and that’s what I particularly appreciate about my work.
If an item cannot be refurbished, it doesn’t just go in the bin,
but is donated to animal welfare.
That’s why I know all the tricks and tips:
even if an elastic band slips out of a jacket, it’s quickly sewn back in.
This attitude is important to me, as every product deserves a second chance.

Numbers expert with a heart for animal welfare
Since the beginning of 2017, I have been working at WOLTERS as a financial accountant –
and I knew right after the interview: This is the right fit.
Because here it's not just about numbers, but above all about animal welfare.
Being able to bring my dog Peti to work with me back then made a lot of things easier.
He couldn't be alone, and for both of us, WOLTERS was a true stroke of luck –
or as I like to say: a fulfilled order to the universe.
Today, my two Hungarian strays Bogi and Kilian accompany me,
whom I adopted – just like Peti – through the association Traurige Hundeherzen e. V.
I find it all the more wonderful that WOLTERS supports this association with donations.
We are involved as a team in planning our fundraising events,
and I know from first-hand experience that the help arrives where it is needed.
Even though my job may seem on the surface to have little to do with dogs,
I experience daily how animal-friendly and responsible we work here.

At WOLTERS, we love animals and have been committed to animal welfare and protection since our company was founded.
