Olive Wood Dog Toy for Varied Chewing and Playing Moments
The WOLTERS Olivi series offers you olive wood dog toys for varied chewing and playing moments with your dog. The toys are made from olive wood, which is hand-crafted, finely sanded, and subsequently refined with olive oil. The olive wood dog toy is suitable for extensive engagement and, depending on the design, is also used for shared retrieving and playing moments.
Chew Toy for Dogs Made from Olive Wood
Olive wood is characterised by its hardness and splinter-free nature. However, while chewing, wood fibres or smaller pieces may break off, so your dog should be supervised during use. With regular chewing, the toy will change over time and may lose size and weight.
Handcrafted Dog Toy with Olive Oil Refinement
The olive wood comes from Tunisia and is shaped and finely sanded in Germany. The wooden parts are then rubbed with olive oil. The process avoids chemical lacquering. The oil accentuates the characteristic grain of the wood.
Unique Wooden Toy Due to Natural Grain
Olive wood is a natural material. Therefore, the individual toys may differ in colour, grain, shape, and size. These material-related variations constitute the characteristic look of the Olivi series and make each toy unique.
Supervise your dog while chewing and regularly check the olive wood for significant damage. Intense chewing may result in wood fibres or smaller and larger pieces being gnawed or broken off. Remove detached larger parts as a precaution.
With use, the chew toy will lose size and weight over time. Replace it once it has become small enough for your dog to swallow.
Gnawing on hard objects is not suitable for dogs with loose or sensitive teeth as well as those that break chew items with great force immediately. Choose the size of the toy to match your dog and its chewing behaviour.
Regularly care for the wooden parts with olive oil. This keeps the surface of the olive wood maintained. Keep in mind that the colour and grain of the natural material may change over time with use.
What material are the Olivi dog toys made of?
The Olivi toys are made from olive wood. The wood is processed in Germany, finely sanded, and subsequently refined with olive oil.
Is olive wood as a chew toy splinter-free?
Olive wood is hard and low in splinters, but not splinter-free. During intense chewing, wood fibres or pieces may be gnawed off. Therefore, check the toy regularly and remove larger detached parts.
Why do Olivi wooden toys not always look the same?
Olive wood is a natural material. Therefore, differences in colour, grain, size, and shape are possible and are part of the characteristic appearance of the toys.
For which dogs is an olive wood chew toy not suitable?
Dogs with loose or sensitive teeth, as well as dogs that immediately bite hard chew items with great force, should not chew on hard objects.
How do I care for an Olivi dog toy made from wood?
The wooden parts should be regularly re-oiled with olive oil. At the same time, check the toy for damage and replace it as soon as it has become too small for safe chewing.
