Ostrich Egg with Rope
Fetch Toy for Dogs with Irregular Bouncing Behaviour
The WOLTERS Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is a versatile fetch toy for dogs that can spring in a different direction with every bounce due to its unique egg shape. This irregular bouncing behaviour adds extra movement to your playtime and enhances your dog's coordination skills. There are options available with and without rope, offering different play possibilities.
Dog Toy Made of Natural Rubber for Fetching and Throwing Games
The Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is made of natural rubber. The material is particularly durable and chewable. Its unusual shape sets the ostrich egg apart from a classic ball, as the direction of the next bounce cannot be precisely predicted upon impact. This makes it suitable for varied throwing and fetching games with your dog. The toy is conditionally buoyant.
Ostrich Egg with Cotton Rope for Dynamic Throws
For particularly dynamic throws, the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg is available with an integrated cotton rope. The rope makes it easier to grip and allows you to add extra swing when throwing the toy. At the same time, it provides your dog with another opportunity to grab the ostrich egg during playtime.
Fillable Dog Toy Without Rope for Treats
The version without rope can additionally be filled with treats. This combines the unique movement of the ostrich egg with an extra motivation for your dog. Depending on whether you are focusing on dynamic throwing games or the engagement with a filling, you can choose the appropriate variant.

Use the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg for shared throwing and fetching games and supervise your dog during use. Regularly check the natural rubber for cracks, deep bite marks, or other visible damage.
For the version with rope, you should also regularly check the cotton rope for frayed or damaged areas. Do not continue to use the toy if material or individual components come loose.
For the version without rope, you should remove food residues promptly after filling. Allow the toy to dry completely after cleaning or after water play before storing.
Choose the size of the toy suitable for your dog and their play behaviour. The ostrich egg should not be small enough to be fully swallowed.
What is the difference between the ostrich egg with and without rope?
The version with cotton rope is particularly suitable for dynamic throws and offers your dog an additional way to pick up the toy. The version without rope can be filled with treats.
Why does the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg bounce so irregularly?
Due to its oval shape, the ostrich egg bounces in different directions after landing. This irregular bouncing behaviour makes fetching and throwing games varied and improves your dog's coordination skills.
What material is the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg made of?
The ostrich egg is made of natural rubber. The material is particularly durable and chewable. The rope of the corresponding variant is made of cotton.
Can I fill the dog toy with treats?
Yes, the version of the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg without rope can be filled with treats. This way, you can combine play with a reward.
Is the Dog Fun Ostrich Egg buoyant?
