Which outfit size does my dog need?

A correctly fitting jacket or sweater offers your dog a high degree of comfort and movement. Crucial for a perfect fit is the right size. In order to determine the correct size, you need the back length and the chest circumference of your dog.

Back length

Measure your dog's back with a flexible measuring tape from the shoulder blade to the root of the tail. For an exact result, your dog needs to stand straight. The clothes must be long enough to perfectly protect the back from cold and wet, but it must not cover the tail or hinder the dog's movement.

Chest Circumference

Measure the chest circumference behind the front legs at the broadest part of the chest. Wrap the measuring tape once around the chest of the dog. The chest circumference indicates whether your dog needs a regular, pug & co. or dachshund size.

Tip: Should your dog turn out to have an intermediate size, choose the larger size, so that your dog has sufficient freedom of movement.
